Walter Holbein, Ph.D. is the Regulatory and Clinical Manager at Nonin Medical, Inc. He holds a PhD from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in Physiology. Dr. Holbein did his post-doctoral training at the Mayo Clinic in Human Integrative Physiology with Michael Joyner MD. During his training, Dr. Holbein led multifaceted in vivo and vitro studies that focused on the complex interactions between the medullary cardiovascular and respiratory networks during health and disease. Prior to accepting his position as Regulatory and Clinical Manager, Dr. Holbein led engineering teams to oversee advanced technology development projects for regional and pulse oximetry.
